Peter Durkan
Chief Executive Officer
As CEO and co-founder of Lucera®, Peter inspires and guides the company’s vision. Prior to leading Lucera®, he held senior technology and trading roles at First Derivatives and Cantor Fitzgerald, where he served as Director of Technology for High-Frequency Trading.
Throughout his career, Peter has designed and built several large-scale trading and analysis platforms. He continues to drive the company’s technology innovation, taking an active involvement in system architecture and implementation.
Michael Badrov
Chief Technology Officer
Michael is a seasoned leader responsible for the company’s infrastructure and technology operations. Prior to joining Lucera, Michael spent over a decade in various technology roles at Chicago-based Getco, LLC (currently KCG) where his responsibilities included designing and implementing colocation facilities, informing trading hardware design, implementation decisions and acting as liaison to many of the firm’s vendors. Prior to Getco, Michael worked with various firms to successfully deliver large scale IT projects. Michael earned a B.S. in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Praneet Kothavade
Chief Information Officer
Praneet is the Chief Information Officer and co-founder of Lucera®. He was formerly at Macquarie as Trading strategist, JPMorgan as Delta One Technology head – Americas and at Bear Sterns as Index Arbitrage tech lead. He has over 20 years experience in architecting and developing high performance, high throughput trading systems, large scale distributed software applications, and algorithmic trading strategies.
